Diversity is important.   If we were all alike, no one would have the skills that we lack or the temperment to take on the chores that we can not face.   Also the competition for the jobs we enjoy would be very fierce.   Please learn to appreciate those who are not exactly like you.   If you disagree with someone, remember it is still important to be polite to those who are different from yourself.
I believe in treating everyone with respect.   Everyone had exactly the same amount of choice in the color of their skin, their parents, original religious group, ethnic group and nationality of birth, namely NONE.   You are not better or worse than someone else because of your background or physical characteristics.   You are responsible for your own deeds.
The census questionnaire should include all of the different ethnic backgrounds.   It is wrong to single out racial backgrounds and some large ethnic groups while ignoring some of smallest groups (under 5% of the population), especially when some of these groups have been well-known targets of hate.   Undercounts exist, some people including my great-grandparents, hid from the census taker because they were afraid.
These genealogy pages reflect individuals from a number of different ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds.   Names may be misleading in terms of ethnicity.   Some adoptees are included.
I do genealogy by collecting data that might fit, and when I think that I know where it goes, I put it there, until I learn that it does not fit.   This can be described as the method of successive approximations.
If you can not say something nice, then don't say anything at all. --Bambi's mother
What is hateful to thee, do not do unto others. --R. Hillel
Just because you can not complete a task, neither are you free to desist from starting it. --R. Tarfon
I believe in thanking everyone for their help and helping others without asking for financial help.  However I have two grandchildren attending a private school for children with special needs.  If you wish to help please say Rivka Wax solicited you and donate to Gesher Ha Torah.
